Elijah's motivation

"We should learn about the struggles that had to be overcome to get us where we are now as a people. This would help a lot of people nowadays, regardless of their race, to understand and differentiate the practices that either help or hinder our progress as a people. The experience from this course will be beneficial, helping me become a more informed and “woke” member of the colored community, which is what we need more of."
Elijah is this year's Senior Group Leader - he runs the day-to-day operation of the school.  He is in the 12th Grade.
