"I never had to opportunity to travel outside the Northeast. I love adventure because it creates memories that I never forget. Throughout my years at school, I was taught about slavery, about the civil rights movement, and by traveling to the South, I can have a better understanding of what I studied in my history courses. I would experience life in the South and have memorable experiences that I can learn from so that I can appreciate history more deeply." - Juan is the Section Leader for Maroon section, composed of four student groups, approximately 110 students.
