"I am doing this project because throughout my childhood, I learned about the civil rights movement and I have always been fascinated by the history behind it. I’ve learned about the prominent events that occurred, and I’m interested in a deeper look into what led up to the movement and how it still affects American society today. This course is a unique opportunity to cultivate my appreciation for the past and its effect on me today."
- Jesus is a member of the School's student-run facilities maintenance team, 520 Corp. Jesus has been at the School since 7th grade, and he will be graduating from 12th grade this coming June.
