The reason Jules joined the course

"I would like to have an in-depth experience about the movement for civil rights and racial justice in America. As a young black man, I have benefitted from the progress made by many in the past who have made it possible for me to be where I am today. My African heritage has also enriched my passion for learning about Black History and our continuing quest for racial justice in this country and all over the world."
Jules is the Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper, The Benedict News.  He is in 12th Grade.
