I am in this course because I like history but I don’t know much about the struggle for civil rights except for what we learned in History class. This course will enable me to visit the places where civil rights history was made. Also, I will be able to talk to people about their experiences, and this is something that I believe I can benefit from, just like my experience at the Virginia Military Institute Summer Program last year. - Ny'Gee is in the 12th Grade, and was recently voted in the Yearbook polls as "Most Improved." He credits his success in part to his participation in the Virginia Military Institute Summer Program.
